The bays sit empty for the hours you can't afford to staff
You close at nine because that's when the last person can reasonably be asked to stay. The building is paid for around the clock, but it only earns during the hours someone is standing behind the counter. Opening earlier or later means a payroll conversation before it means a revenue one.
Customers book and pay in advance, then unlock the door from their phone when their session starts. The simulator powers on for their reservation and shuts down at the end. You add hours without adding shifts, and the building closes itself out.
